It may have been some years since we tottered into the first day of school hidden under an oversized wooly jumper with wide eyes, but there’s always something lovely about September at any age. It seems to bring a feeling of starting afresh each year, and a suspiciously excited feeling that we must – for some unknown reason – rush out to buy a new pencil case and an array of coloured pencils (and any excuse for a new camera is also good, too!)
