Family portrait photography with children is, if The Simpsons is anything to go by, the most difficult sort of group photo to take. Whilst the arrival of digital cameras means we’re able to re-do shots that weren’t perfect, this can be a curse as much as a blessing. Often it’s the first few photos that are the most natural, before cheeks start aching as ‘one or two photos’ turn into two hundred to the sound of “just one more!” If you’re planning to present your photos in photo books or other sorts of photo gifts, it can take days looking for the best one (though you can always turn the bloopers into a photo mousemat!)

Smile! It’s our Favourite Family Photography Blogs

Now that everyone under the sun has a digital camera capable of snapping great looking shots, online photography blogs have really taken off. You can find a photo blog on pretty much any subject you can think of, from food photography to blogs compiling the best mid-ride roller coaster faces (seriously). Of course, the level of interest between these varies quite a bit, but family photography is something that we are all really into here at Truprint.
